Experiences in Val di Fassa

Evening milking takes place at 5:00 pm, and for special occasions it can be brought forward to 5:00 am. The cows each have their own personality, and the calves drink milk right beside you. A moment that brings you truly close to the origin of what you find on your plate.

The hens at Malga Pié live outdoors and lay eggs every day. Collecting them together is one of the simplest yet most satisfying activities. The next day, you can enjoy them at breakfast, lunch, or dinner in one of our recipes.

The Malga Piè vegetable garden is grown without fungicides or herbicides. Harvesting vegetables means understanding why some produce from the mountain farm looks less “perfect” than what you find in large-scale retail—and why it tastes completely different. It is a slow, educational activity, ideal for those who want to see the supply chain up close before sitting down at the table.

The Malga Pié wine cellar houses wines from the Trentino producers we work with. During the guided visit, we will take you through how we choose our labels, which grape varieties we know closely and how the local territory is expressed in the glass. For an even deeper experience, we can also organise visits directly to the producers’ wineries.

The Malga Pié aperitif is much more than a moment of relaxation. It is a guided tasting experience to discover every flavour on the plate: from cured meats to cheeses and vegetables preserved in oil. We tell you where they come from, who produces them and why they taste so authentic. A simple way to get closer to the farming world.

If you would like to go beyond the menu in your food and wine discovery, you can also request an extra Trentino dish, depending on the season and the ingredients available that day. An additional course that becomes an opportunity to experience the cuisine of the Dolomites up close.

The educational farm brings together all animal-related experiences in a single path designed for children. You visit the stable, the henhouse, and the vegetable garden. You touch, collect, and learn. An educational experience that doesn’t feel like a lesson.

The ponies at Malga Pié are used to being around children. The ride is short, guided and safe. For many children, it is their first real contact with a horse: not an image on a screen, not a toy. Something big, warm, alive, breathing.

Not everyone wants to ride a horse. Sometimes, simply watching, touching and feeding is enough. Getting close to a horse is a slow, guided experience: you learn how to behave around a horse, how to make it feel calm, and how to communicate without words.
