Our holiday farmhouse Malga Piè is in Soraga, a little rural village in Val di Fassa, in Trentino. From our farmhouse you can reach the most beautiful hiking and trekking locations of the Dolomites, ride your mountain bike, walk down the cycling route or you can spend your winter holidays.

Our guests come to us to live an emotional holiday, to enjoy our wellness centre with sauna and Turkish bath in direct contact with our surrounding nature, to stare at the animals and to eat and drink our products.

Erika Brunel, the owner of the holiday farmhouse Malga Piè, has decided to revitalise the country structure situated at the edge of the wood by giving life to an environmental-friendly holiday farmhouse in Trentino, which takes advantage from the renewable energy and offers 0-km products. But their story began almost 60 years ago…
For over four generations, the Brunels have ranched cattle for the production of milk. Our history began in the Sixties when our grandfather Ferdinando built a little malga with a stall, a barn, a kitchen and a little room called “refreshments” to welcome the people passing by. At those times, they could reach the malga only by foot. That’s why its name is Malga Piè (piè means foot).
In those years, during the summertime, the family went to Malga Piè to look after the animals, bring them to the mountain pastures and work the land. In the meantime, they rented their house in the village to tourists.
But times change and over the years they left Malga Piè which became a place full of beautiful and unforgettable memories. In 2003 Paolo decided to carry on his family’s dream by building a new stall next to their old malga.
The ancestors handed down their passion for nature and animals and this time a lady decided to continue Ferdinando’s dream. Erika carried out her studies at the Agricultural Institute San Michele all’Adige and opened their little farming world to tourists.
This is how a new holiday farmhouse was born in our Trentino, Agriturismo Malga Piè, in the name of the farmer’s life, wholesome products and family hospitality.
The holiday farmhouse Malga Piè is mostly made in accordance to the green building criteria to live in respect of the human and environmental wellness. It is in wood, the only breathing material. It guarantees a good indoor air quality and a healthy climate as it reduces the energy wastes and the CO2 production.
Furthermore, it guarantees excellent soundproofing to let our guests relax. We only used 0-km resources – not only wood but also rocks.
